F.A.Q.

How many classes can you realistically accompany in a day without straining your voice?

I would be able to do at most 3 a day!

What does your setup look like? Do we need to provide music equipment?

I will bring and set up all equipment. My setup includes my keyboard, keyboard stand, microphone, mic stand, amp/speaker system, and all cords.

Non-local studios ONLY:

-A 2 channel PA system or Mixer will be needed. In simpler terms, this is a speaker or Mixer that is connected to speakers with at least 2 inputs:

One input: an XLR input for my microphone

Second Input: a ¼ inch cable input for my keyboard

*see photo below*

Most dance studios already have these! I will just need to be able to plug into them!

As long as the back of your PA system or mixer has these 2 things, we are good to go!

Can we request certain songs or moods ahead of time?

Absolutely! If there is a specific song of mine or a cover song you are wanting me to sing live, let me know at least 1 week in advance and I can create a unique live version!

What genres/styles can you sing live, and do you adjust to each class (ballet vs. contemporary vs. jazz)?

I always stick to contemporary, lyrical, and improvisation. I do this because my voice and music style fit the style of those classes the best. You can find my music on all streaming platforms under Courtney Hart, as well as the link in my bio on Instagram!
